Not sure what to say?

We grew up in the same south Omaha neighborhood, and our parents were friends of Lyle and Jean. We also camped with them. We want to send our condolences to the Porter family! From one of the Pope girls

Lyle would always come into the bank and tell me about his next fishing trip and his boat. It reminded me of all the good times I had being on the boat with my dad as a kid. I will miss Lyle!

Lyle was a good friend and neighbor. Always helpful, always positive, and always fun. I enjoyed - and will greatly miss - the times we spent talking and "solving the world´s problems."

Lyle was so much fun. Always laughing and joking around play horse shoes. Always positive and never said a bad word about anybody. We called him Pops.

Lyle (peter) jeanie would call him. They were my dear neighbors at our cabins for many years...we had so much fun getting together eating good food n we fished alot n would also float down the Elkhorn river now n then. We also went up to Elwood a few times n caught monster fishes. So... many great memories. I'll miss him alot. Wish I could had said goodbye.

Thank you for your military service

Dear Porter Family We love you all and consider you an extension of our family. You all have always treated us like family. We will miss Lyle as we miss Jean and Roger. Hugs to all!
