I am honoured to have known, if only peripherally, this remarkable man, and genuine iconoclast. His legacy will endure in his bloodline- worthy stewards of his memory, and among the finest people I have ever encountered. Connie: I am so deeply sorry.

Mr Harris was our Boy Scout leader in 1964-65. He was always very patient and even handed in dealing with a bunch of teenage boys. Alex Ramsey, Tom Smith, Tom Whipple and myself always appreciated the time he gave us. Thanks for letting us borrow him. He made a difference.
