I'll never forget the phone call from a lady responding to a postcard advertisement I had pinned to the bulletin board at Fred Meyer's. It was Lynette and she was eager to join my sign language classes. this phone call lead to a wonderful friendship and a force adoption as Honorary cousins
Lynette loved sign language and was eager to share ABC cards and sign language books with everyone she met. I think she handed out more alphabet cards than I did in all my years of teaching...
