Lynne Sinclair

1941 - 2025

Lynne Collins Sinclair, 84, of Henrico, Virginia, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on December 22, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Leonard Collins. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Richard Sinclair; her daughter Shannon Sinclair (Christine) and her son Michael Sinclair (Caroline); and her grandchildren Collin, Margaret, Elizabeth, Grace, Duncan, Ryon, and Quinn Sinclair.

Lynne graduated from Salve Regina University and received her law degree from Rutgers University. She practiced law in Burlington County, New Jersey before retiring and moving to Annapolis, Maryland. In retirement, Lynne was an engaged and devoted grandmother, a dedicated partner and caregiver to Richard, and a loyal volunteer in the neonatal intensive care unit of the local hospital. Lynne was also a staunch supporter and protector of American democracy and her last gift to each of her grandchildren was a copy of the U.S. Constitution.

A funeral mass will be held as St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Road, Richmond, VA 23229 on January 17, 2026, at noon. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
