M. GENE KIRK

We will always remember my cousin, Gene Kirk. He and his wife came to our large family reunion in the 90 s. It was so nice how everyone got to catch up. The reunion was held to honor the last living sibling, Uncle Ben of my mother and Gene s father. Many of the Kirk cousins are gone now, but we who are left are so blessed to know our family had such a strong faith passed down from our precious grandmother, Laura Kirk.

Gene was our Asst Minister and youth leader in the late 50s and early 60s at Central United Methodist. I was very fond of him,and the YOUTH had so much fun with unknown destinations and MYF.When he still coming to church over the past years, I would remind him of memories and even mentioned him when I had pulpit duties. Kathryn and children, he was a wonderful minister and gentleman. Our prayers are with you all. Susie Ellis Knable, CUMC member 68 years!
