Family-Placed Death Notice
Mabel Elizabeth Cabezas slipped quietly into heaven on June 2, 2005, where we are confident she is already helping others in her kind and doting way. Mabel is predeceased by her husband, George "Chris" Cabezas, daughters, Vivian and O'Dail, and son, George Jr. She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Chris Sheppard, Roger Sheppard, Pauletta Riley, Kathleen Johnson, Karen Olive and Steven Cabezas, as well as great grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Katlyn Rose Sheppard, Brendan and Emily Riley, Brek and Megan Lowery, and Steven and Lisa Cabezas. Mabel was born July 4, 1906 and lived a full, active, and productive life all of her many years. A native of Washington, D.C., she and Chris retired to Sebring, Florida where she enjoyed square dancing and playing cards. But Mabel's joy was her family. She was always so unabashedly proud of us all. And we found her truly amazing. Dearest Nana, God bless you-we will miss you so. National Cremation Society.
