Not sure what to say?

Michael and Alan, I know how hard it is to lose your Mama. My Mama passed away in 1985 and she was 85 years old. I still miss her so much. And I always see things that remind me of her or hear something that I think I would like to tell her. I really know that you never get over losing your Mama. But I do have so many wonderful memories of her as I am sure you two do of Mabel. I always liked your Mama. I went to her and Claude's wedding. And of course the two of you were the apple of her eye....

Michael and Alan -
I was so sorry to hear of your mom's death. She was a great lady! Hard to believe she's gone. Will be thinking of you both during the Holdiays especially.

-Lee Northcutt

Alan & Michael,
My thoughts & prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
Alan, I still remember the good 'ole days at Bill Capels when your mom would cook TACOS and bring to us on Saturdays when we had to work those long hours. They were delicious! Taco Bell couldn't touch her tacos.
I'll always remember her as a very sweet lady with a beautiful smile who loved her sons dearly.

There will never be another lady so special as Mabel Harrington Horne was to so many people for all these years. My mother, Mary Frances and her has been friends for more than 55 years that I know of. Ms. Mabel always had a kind word and a smile to go along with it. If she couldn't say something good about a person she just wouldn't say anything at all. She has done so many heads of hair during these years and she probaly lost count. Now she can take care of all the others that has gone...

I remember your Mom so well as a young child & then as I was older. I usually saw her whenever my family visited Wadesboro. I often went to her Beauty Shop with my Grandmother, Virginia Gaddy. I loved visiting with Miss Mabel. My Daddy (Charles Harrington, Betty Griffin's brother), was another cousin to Mabel. Mabel's heart of gold and warm smile will be remembered by everyone that knew her. May the memories you shared with her bring comfort to you all. You are in my thoughts and...

All of your family have been so special to me. Mabel was a wonderful mother and a great person to be around. I always looked forward to seeing her.

Alan and Michael - I'll have you in my thoughts and prayers and will so cherish the memories of your mother.

Love,

Brock

Alan and Michael, My heart goes out to you. This saddens us, but just think of my Mom and yours greeting each other in Heaven. (My Mother probably said "Thank goodness you're here, I can't do a thing with my hair!) Your Dad and mine have been talking since they got there! And one day it will be a great reunion for us all, just keep believing and staying in the will of our Lord and Master. God Bless you both.

WE LOVE YOU,

MARK & JANET
