My name is Willie Anthony Leak, and I have just come across the very sad news that Rev Gwinn passed in 2012. I was thinking about his family, and decided to look up his name. I attended the church he pastor at several times back in 1987, and "88. I started working at Riches department store in South DeKalb Mall in "87 were I first meet him, and his daughter; who also worked there, and they always showed me love. My deepest condolences to all the family members, and God's continual uplifting...

I miss you Daddy! I love you. My heart is forever broken until I see you again....and I will.

Well daddy I still can't believe you are gone...but my heart is overjoyed that you are with God! Daddy I love you so much and now you can really see how much I did and still do. Reverend Gwinn was my Pastor a few years back, he was a great man and I learned a lot from him and his wife during my years of being a member at his church. He was a wise and kind man. He will be missed, prayers goes out to the family during this time. But he and his wife Mrs. Betty Gwinn raise very strong children. I thank you for being a great mentor.

Rev. Gwinn was my buddy, my friend, my family. All the Gwinns are family to me. Their father was the best person i have ever known and i still think about him and wish God had let us keep him longer. i will always remember his humor and that great barbecue he used to make!!!! Miss you, Macon!!!
