Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Thalken taught me home economics at Vina Danks. So sorry to hear of her passing. I hope her family has peace and comfort in this difficult time.

I feel so honored to be part of your family. It was a privilege to know and love your Mother, she was a gift to all of us.

Beautiful Sweet Soul - My lovely Aunt Madelyn: We Love You and celebrate your wonderful life, years of service and the kind moments you shared with so many young people, and with your loving family. May you Love your heavenly crown, and be surrounded by Joy, Peace, and Light until we meet again. Your Loving Niece : ) Janet Thalken-Gleason

Such a sweet dear lady, Madelyn lit up the hall when she walked. She graciously chatted with me every time we met at Chaffey High School and I enjoyed her company immensely.

Madelyn's kind words settled my nerves in my early years of teaching and later I modeled my interactions with beginning teachers after her. A conversation with Madelyn made challenging days amusing with her smiles and easy laughter.

Madelyn is a treasure and is always remembered with a smile. My prayers...

What a beautiful and loving person. I also was a student of hers in the early 70's. We would meet numerous of times years afterward just to talk only to realize years later she was a concern person. 35 plus years later I still mention Mrs. Thalken to my wife. Mrs. Thalken still lives and have always been blessed by God

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Thalkens passing. I had her for two classes at Chaffey and she was one of my favorite teachers. The Thalken Family is in my thoughts and prayers.

You will always be a lovely memory for Mike and me at St. Church. You always had a smile and always encouraged us with our work at St. George. Rest In Peace dear friend. Mike and Magdalena Pacheco

I love you, Aunt Madelyn. You will be greatly missed. We'll meet again.

So sorry for your lost Joseph. She sounds like a wonderful mother.
