Not sure what to say?

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mankani at UCSF. He was always professional and dignified. I will never forget the kindness he showed my father. I will miss Dr. Mankani and my sympathies to his family during this sad time.

Dr. Mankani was my doctor for three years and worked with me on my reconstructive surgeries following breast cancer. He had a gentle spirit and kind presence. He will be missed. God bless him and his family. Hope C.

My family and I are deeply saddened to hear of Mahesh's untimely passing.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, children, mother, and sister.
As a fellow Punahou and UH Medical School alumnus, I feel that all those who knew this graceful and intelligent physician here in Hawaii wish for peace for his family in the times ahead.

Dear Vyji,
I am so sad to hear of Mahesh's passing.
I worked with him several years ago at UCSF and always enjoyed his calmness, no matter the chaos that was going on in Clinic.
I occasionally ran into him at Peet's and he always took a few minutes to catch up with my family.
I am so sorry for you, for your children, and the entire community, that we've lost this lovely man.
Sincerely,
Ilana

Rest in peace Dear Friend - I treasure our friendship and your phenomenal contribution to patient care and academic enlightenment.
Fondly, humbly, and gratefully yours.

I met Mahesh when i was a medical student at Univ. of Chicago. He was one of those people who was kind, thoughtful, generous, and caring. This is a huge loss to the San Francisco medical community and of course to his family. Very few people are as pure in "goodness" as Mahesh. I am very sorry for this loss to all who knew and loved him - especially his family.

Dr. Mankani was my Husband's hand surgeon after a terrible motorcycle collision. He was always exceedingly kind to my Husband and went well above and beyond to help us with my husband's other treatments. He is mourned by us both today. Our deepest condolences to his family.

I just learned of Dr. Makani's passing, and wish to give my deepest sympathy to Dr. Makani's family. I was a medical school classmate of Dr. Makani, and remember him for his gentle nature. I am sure he wil be greatly missed by family, friends, and colleagues.
