I was a former employee at regions Bank I worked with major quite often I was a floateller my deepest condolences.. I was just informed of his passing he was an exceptional individual very caring and had a big heart he had a beautiful aura and great spirit. I am so saddened to hear that he has passed. They say the Good die Young and that is so true he was definitely a good one his memory will linger on in our hearts forever.

So sorry to hear the late news on this. Major Greer was someone I called my friend who was also my branch manager on Magnolia Ave. Heaven gained a great man of God and awesome friend to the community in Knoxville Tennessee. My prayers and condolences go out to all his friends and family that surrounded him.

Major. Was a great friend who will be missed dearly. I have seen him in 20 years since we got out of school. His great smile and his calm nature was just one thing that truly let you know he really cared for everyone around him. I will truly miss tou old friend. Rick Foushee

Growing up he was a kind and considerate young man. He mentored younger kids in his family and community.

The Family has our deepest condolences. Major was truly a nice and kind person. I met him at Regions Bank after the death of my father, he was very patient and understanding of my situation. God has embraced a gentle Angel.

Major you were great banker and even a greater person and friend. RIP my friend!

As an member of the Buccaneer family, I enjoyed watching you and the other members of the group not only play but really represented what was passed was good about being in JC. You reminded me so much of how I played the game. I enjoyed the time we spent together at the last legends game. Take your rest. The rest of the Buc Nation will continue to talk as we do and will assist the Geer family in any way we can. Take you rest Gods team just got a lot better with you joining Alvin.
