Early Friday morning, God called home one of his precious angels, Little Miss Makayla Faith Drumgoole. She was born July 17, 2008. We were blessed with her presence for two months, but her memory will forever be in our hearts and minds. We know that Gods wisdom is greater than ours, and our precious child is resting with our father in heaven. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ramona Petterson and Stanley Barclay.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Cedric and Malika Drumgoole of Dinwiddie; two sisters, Destiny and Desire, and two brothers, Cedric and Christian; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Anita Drumgoole of Wilson; two great grandmothers, Lula Branch of Wilsons and Oslyn Taylor of Petersburg; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at 3 p.m. at the Bloomfield Baptist Church, Wilsons, with the Rev. Proctor Beard, officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home, 11107 Doyle Blvd. McKenney. 804-478-4411.

Cedric, Malika and Family

I know and pray that God is watching over you, and his love and strength continue to be with you and you family....Makayla was a perfect child, blessed with a loving family

May God continue to keep you and your family hearts, minds, and spirits as you endure the separation of your precious angel whom he loaned to you for such a short time in our sight; but "God will" is perfect. He will never leave you nor forsake you, when your hearts are heavy and your eyes are full with tears from your child's separation continue to look unto the hills which cometh your help and he will strengthen your hearts. Continue to love, cherish, and hug the remaining angels he has...

Cedric your family has my deepest sympathy. Stay strong and I will keep you all in our prayers. May God Bless.

Cedric and Family, I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Cherish those few and precious memories that you have had with Makayla. She will be in your hearts forever. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

God bless and keep your family.

Be Blessed. Everything is according to HIS will.

Malika and Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
