Malcolm Trero Obituary
In high school he joined the United States Marines and during his enlistment he boxed with the Marines and played the drums for the Merchant Marines. Once he was honorably discharged, he moved to Houston, Texas. He continued his professional boxing carrier for ten years. He was a member of VFW post 4709 in Conroe for numerous years. He also was known as "Dr. Maxie Trero", professional tree surgeon.
Maxie was the life of the party wherever he went and more than often knew someone everywhere he went. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and deer hunting. He loved Jesus and prayed everyday. Maxie was a charismatic, generous and loving man with a heart of gold.
Maxie leaves behind; his loving wife of nearly 35 years Mary Anne, children Ramona Isabell and husband David, Barbara Ann Kolasky, Robert Trero and wife Tracy, Peggy Trero Goetz and husband Steve, Stacy Trero, Tony Trero and wife Jennifer, David Trero and wife Amy, Shawn Carlisle and wife Vena, Scott Carlisle, Rebecca McManus and husband Ralph, and Jack Carlisle, twenty seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Susan Trero, sons Gary and Billy Trero, sisters Martha Jo Hayden and Mary Rose Browning, brother William "Billy" Trero, and great granddaughter Isabella Trero.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20th following visitation. Graveside services will be at Garden Park Cemetery. There will be a celebration life reception immediately following the graveside service at the Conroe VFW from 12:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m.
