Not sure what to say?

Dr. Kurup was an amazing surgeon. I think about him often and about the surgery he preformed on me. It was Feb. 1992. i remember his words. Mrs. McQuinn, "I thank God that I was able to get all the cancer, because it was very aggressive." I am still alive and well and I am grateful for his medical advice and attention in asissting me during a very difficult time in my life. RIP! His memories will always be in my thought and my family. I pray that the family will always be made aware of the...

I shall never forget DrManikoth Kurup. I remember when he came to work with Dr Kenneth Cherry at Retreat Hospital on Grove Ave. I think of Dr Kurup often, he did surgery on my sister. A phenomenal doctor, they don´t make surgeons like him anymore. Family, Dr Kurup was loved my everyone who he came incontact with.

Dear Vasanthi and family, Thank you for your kindness and support all these years from Dr Kurup and You. Both of you have been very Supportive for my Kids. Thanks for all that you do for us. Will Miss Dr Kurup. Love Lakshmi, Mahesh, Yamini and Keerthi.

In 2017 when I was past the end of my rope, unable to walk or even stand with no way to get medical help or even get my basic needs taken care of, Dr. Kurup, after my Uncle Dr. Vinay Sharma talked to him, made arrangements for me to see a specialist (Dr. Kidd) at VCU Health. Within a few weeks I was taken to the hospital, given treatment that helped me begin to recover and able to walk again. If it wasn't for Dr. Kurup working with VCU and my uncle, I would not have survived 2017.

Dear Kurup Family. I am sorry your loss. Kurup Uncle was always kind to me. I will miss his dry humor and wit. He really helped me personally when I got sick and helped me to find a good doctor. I hope peace for you all. If I can do anything please let me know. Love Renu

Dear Mrs. Kurup, thank you for your kindness and support all these years from you and your husband. I don't really have many friends in the local Indian community, but you two and the Sens and Dr. Kapil have always cared about me and I really appreciate it. I'm going to miss Dr. Kurup.

I worked for him in the late 1980's at Richmond Memorial Hospital and couldn't have met a nicer man. So smart and loved his family and patients. His knowledge will be missed.

We lived in Richmond, Virginia from 1976-1984. During this time several opportunities occurred to meet Dr. Manikoth Kurup. One such association was related to Hindu Center of Virginia.
I always believed that Dr. Kurup master-minded and skillfully navigated the creation of Hindu Center of Virginia.

More recently, a situation occurred when I needed his help to provide the contact of a Physician in Richmond Hospital. He lgot it done without slightest hesitation.
We knew...

Dr. Kurup was a wonderful friend and colleague to my father. His memory is a blessing.
