I am shocked and saddened at Manish's passing. I knew him in Manipal and continued to keep in touch over the years since. He is without a doubt the most amazing person I have ever met in my life. I will miss him very much. My prayers are with him, his family and friends.

WOW >> at a loss for words... most of my memories of Manish are childhood ones, as my sister and I grew up living across the street from the Jain family and went to school for a short time with. Such a loss of a smart, go-getter that is missed and I'm sure will be remembered. Regards to the Jain faimly during this time of grief.

Manish always saw me as a writer first and cook second, despite my lack of published work. His encouragement still burns inside me. Our time hanging out in New Orleans was filled with laughs, wandering thoughts and singing along with the jukebox, very loudly. Unfortunately I'll never be able to visit him in Vegas like we spoke about. But at the same time, as long as I'm in Nola those memories will live on every time I walk down Magazine St. There many others down here, outside the medical field, who feel the same way and wish we could turn back the clock preventing this young man's death. R.I.P.

Manish was such a great person. I will miss him very much. My prayers are with him, his family and friends. I remember him from grade school and he was so funny and outgoing. One time he got up in front of the entire class and sang the theme from Karate Kid. He was very special and inspiring. I will never forget Manish.

Wow buddy, I never thought I would be writing this..I wish we could have one more time to sit out together in the canyons of supai, play some james taylor and sing at the top of our lungs and just enjoy life. I feel so lucky to have know you all these years and you will always be my brother. I could write forever about all the things we did together and all the things that we will now miss out on. We were gonna grow old together and thats what will break my heart each and every day that you're gone. Please know that your children and family will not be forgotten by me,, and "uncle Izzy" will always be there for them to do all of the things I know you would have wanted to do. I know you're smiling down on me right now. There's not much more to say other than that I love you and miss you.

This is tragic news. The Tulane Medical School Class of 2003 was always brightened by Manish's spirit. I hope that the Jain family finds some peace in this difficult time. The medical community will also mourn his loss.

I had the pleasure to work with Manish a few times at Tulane Hospital. We shared some stories about something that he and his wife and my husband and I both enjoyed. I even told him that I would come visit him in Las Vegas after he was settled in. He was such a wonderful person who cared about his patients and the people he worked with. It is so sad to lose such a dedicated doctor and an outstanding human being. He always talked about his family and the love he had for them. Manish, you will be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.
God Bless you.

Manish and I spent a lot of time together in New Orleans at Tulane during school. I was once mugged in the French Quarter and Manish looked out for me and drove me to my car afterwards. He was a generous and great friend.

Mannish was one of three math students I had at the Meadows School when he was an 8th grader...likeable, friendly and a dedicated student who did not need to be pushed for he pushed himself. I am sorry he had to leave this earth at such an early age and leave so many loved ones behind. You will be remembered and missed by your family and me...
