Manuel De la Rosa, Sr., 86 went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2011. Hewas preceded in death, by his wife Carmen. He is survived by hissons and daughters, Maria Elena Tamayo, Manuel De la Rosa, Jr.,Oscar De la Rosa, Sandra D. Shaw, Sonia D. Lopez, their spouses; 13grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 sister and 5 brothers. Mr. De la Rosa's self determination, hard work, and integrity was a trueinspiration to his family. The family would like to express a specialthank you to Ramona, for the kindness and loving care she provided totheir father. Mr. De la Rosa will be dearly missed and never forgotten.His entire family would like to express their gratitude to everyone thatshowed their support and kept them in prayers. Visitation begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Trevino FuneralHome. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011, in thefuneral home chapel. Procession will depart from the funeral at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2 Mausoleum. Services under the direction of Trevino Funeral Home. Services under the direction of:
