Manuel's smile was as big as his heart. I remember him being this big character with a joke and a laugh behind it. Vince, my sincere condolences and prayers go out to you, your mom and family. He touched alot of lives and he will be missed but the really cool part is that we will remember him forever.

I met Manuel when he came to Arizona State College at Flagstaff during the 1954-1955 football season.
He was a transfer student from Phoenix College. On campus Manuel was well know as the 'Gentle Giant.' He was very shy and quiet, until he got to know you!

When I think back on the times I was able to spend with you, I am glad and I am happy because I was blessed to get to have you in my life. When I look back on these days, I'll look and see his face and he will be right there for me. I will always remember the strength he gave me. I owe so much to him. Everywhere I am there he'll be right beside me and when I lay down at night I will always look up to him..a moment in our arms, forever in our hearts.

Your loving daughter
