I am saddened to learn of Manny's passing. He was a good friend to my dad, Sam Roberts. Some 18 years ago or so, Dad entered into a physical therapy/exercise class after heart surgery where he met Manny.

The exercise class would meet for a monthly lunch and when Dad was unable to drive anymore due to advancing Alzheimer's, Manny would come to my parent's home and pick him up. He was so incredibly kind to my Dad, patiently listening to the same stories for the hundredth...

To Manuel's dear family, I want to thank you for sharing Manny with us over the lst 20 plus years, faithfully every Wednesday night. He was a fine talented musician and a good friend.
