MARC GLASSMAN

I knew Marc, "Dr. G" in the Macintosh community. He was passionate & erudite about our aging & expensive machines. Above all, Dr. G. had such a fine sense of humour. His lively contributions will be sorely missed. My deep condolences to his family. Marc was a mensch. He had a lively mind, an extremely kind heart, and an infectious laugh. We worked closely together early in our careers. Marc taught me a lot about statistics, and even more about what it means to engage in true intellectual collaboration. He made his world a better place, and will be greatly missed.

Marc and I collaborated on a couple of papers. He was a great and innovative statistician and a wonderful person!
