Mark was one of the best people I ever met. Well educated and highly distinguished in his profession, he always had time for his friends on the Wissahickon who enjoyed his company almost every weekend. I remember with great fondness and respect every time I go there.

Ziss was one of the best men you´ll ever have met. We were friends from early on in high school sharing the nervousness of the starters gun in a track meet, and the friendship of long runs at twilight and an occasional dribble post run! A great man. My friend.

We just heard about Marc's death and wanted to say how sorry we are. We enjoyed being neighbors and hearing about Marc's running life. I also enjoyed talking with him as a fellow psychiatrist. Pam, Heidi and Robbie are in our thoughts. Sarah

I was a classmate, teammate, and friend of Marc at Penn. He was just one of the sweetest human being you could have ever met. He truly did love the Penn Relays and running for the great Penn track teams of our era. As a relays official myself for nearly 30 years, I always looked forward to catching up with him the last weekend in April. He always had a calming, warm influence on everyone near him. My condolences to Pam, Heidi and Robbie and the rest of his family. He will be missed with...
