Marcel Lissek

Marcel was an inspiration to many as a professor and a friend. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Lissek Family,
My mother and I are deeply saddened to know of Marcel's passing. We have such wonderful memories of those days on Ogden Road so many years ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

How saddened I was to hear about Marcel's passing. My fondest memory of him will always be when I walked into a graphic arts class at UB and there he was- my professor. He was an awesome instructor as well as a great all around guy. I'm so sorry for your loss. Love, Jing

We are so grieved by Marcel's passing. He was a rightous man. His sense of humor and friendliness will stay with us forever. We are so sorry he only stayed with us for so short a time. We can only hope that there is indeed a next life and in that life we shall all meet him again.

I am truly sorry for the loss of your dad and husband. Marcel was like a second father to me. I still remember the time he tried showing me, you and Steve jump shots in your driveway wearing cowboy boots. His ford maverick and the way he drove it in snow always stuck out in my memory. He always told great stories. Marcel will be missed. My prayers go out to you and your family.

I don't know what to say except that I am truly sorry for this loss of a wonderful man. Marcel was a man of substance and great wit that brought warmth to all those around him. My memories of Marcel are filled with his great sense of humour, his sensitivity, and his capacity for sharing all that he had.
