Marcella Martin, a cherished wife, mother, granny, great GiGi sister, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 66.
Born on October 22, 1958, in Iowa City, Iowa, Marcella was a vibrant presence whose warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robert Martin; son, Robert (Gina) Martin; daughter, Ann (Gary) Johnson; grandchildren, Paige (Matthew) Cichella, Sydney Johnson, Chase Gonzalez, and Kaila Roberts; great-grandchildren, Avery Ann Cichella, Kash Roberts, Liam Nicholas Cichella; sister, Lori Cable, and her brothers, Danny Hand and David Hand.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Annabelle Boyd Hand; brother, Bryan Hand; grandson, Tyler Roberts.

I met Marcy by chance. I would always see her taking care of the sweet kittens on the road I moved in on. We both had a love for animals and I offered to help her take care of them. She was a sweet loving soul and I was blessed to know her. She will be missed and her sweet kittens will always be taken care of

I am so glad to have had the last months on messaging and facebook after we lost contact with other for a number of years, It was such a joy to spend weekends with her and Butch back when we were doing campers. I will always hold the memories in my heart , My sympathy to you Butch and all the family.
