Not sure what to say?

I was blessed to work with Marcia when I began teaching at Heritage High School in the foreign language department. She was the epitome of a professional, caring teacher who not only loved the subject matter but also her students and strove to make those around her better people. My sympathy to her family and friends.

Mrs. Patterson was such a wonderful mentor and teacher. She understood me as a person when others did not. She taught me Latin, but more importantly, she taught me loyalty, friendship, leadership, and how to be a better human!

What a fabulous teacher! When I started my career as a LCS Latin teacher, I tried to emulate Mrs. Patterson as weel as my ACHS Latin teacher, Mrs. Eugenia Myers. Mrs. Patterson's passion for the Latin language and Roman culture inspired us all. Her legacy lives on. Requiescat in pacem, magistra.

To this day, my love for Roman history is completely 100% the result of Mrs. Patterson's teaching -- she taught with such passion and just had a way to make it all so real. She believed in her students and supported us, motivated us and pushed us to be better. I didn't want to dress up for a costume contest at a Latin convention, but she knew I could and in the end, I think I came out in the top 5! My original wedding china... I can't part with ONLY because she said to me, "The pattern is so...

Mrs. Patterson,
You were one of my favorite teachers. My twin Tim and I enjoyed our 4 years of Latin with you. You were like another to us all. I remember you fondly and especially you calling mme Tim and Tim Kim. We loved our Latin Club and how you gave the language life. We will always remember you with fond memories. I wish all students who took Latin could have had you as a teacher. Much love to a wonderful woman. Deepest sympathy to the family.
