Not sure what to say?

I'm a very bald bassist, and Marciano did my first head shave! I last saw him in 2011, at a club where my band was playing, and he was celebrating his birthday. A great guy, and a great barber! Unfortunately, I never got to hear him play, but it was great talking shop about being a musician when I was in his barber shop!

Miss you at least once per month Marciano

I met Mars in 2001 when it was my good fortune to join a company whose offices were in his building. Mars became my barber, lifetime friend and confidant over the course of the next five years before I retired. We reminisced over the years from the late 1950s, when I first went to work in downtown St. Louis about the time Mars came here from Texas, eventually taking up the trade of his father and uncles as I recall the stories. Back in those days St. Louis remained well within the ten largest...

Sorry to learn of Marciano's passing. I was a long time customer of his. I always looked forward to my half hour with him. What a great guy! We shared a love of jazz and talked about each of our travels, Boy Scout adventures and his walks on Grant Trail. Always a gentleman. May he rest in peace with the Lord. And peace to his family, of which he was so proud.

Marciano was a great barber and a good friend. I miss him dearly.

"When you coming in...I'll be here". I looked forward to seeing Marciano every four weeks or so to listen to the music he played and simply visit with him while I got the best haircut in St. Louis. God Bless and Godspeed Marciano you will be missed.

Learned today ( April 9) of his death. Enjoyed regular appointments and swapping stories about our families and his band. Real gentleman. God bless.

Marciano always offered a warm smile and good conversation when visiting him for a haircut. He will be missed and remains in our thoughts and prayers.
