I also went to Most Holy Redeemer and was a Eureka Valley Boy. Marcus and his friends were older, but we all knew him from being in the neighborhood. We both entered the FD in 1974. My sad condolences to the Gonzales Family on the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend. May you find solace in good memories of his life and love. My family lost a dear member in January to the same disease. Hope and great medical care was not enough to prevent their loss of their good lives.

My condolences to the Gonzales family. Marcus was a good man and a good firefighter. I had the honor of being his classmate. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
