I had the great pleasure of meeting Marcus while he was competing as wrestler. I was a young coach still figuring things out and I was incredibly lucky to have Marcus on our team at Imperial High School. His spirit and work ethic was inspirational. Our condolences to the Monzon family. We came to know Marcus when he joined the CDC and became close family with our grandkids in Sacramento. They looked out for each other and played softball as a team. It is with much pain when such a young person passes but we are glad we came to know him. Rest in peace and may God bring your family comfort always.
