I'm sorry I was unable to make it to Uncle Marcus funeral. Ron and I were in Iowa. The last time we talked was at Dorothy's funeral. We talked about how hard of work being a painter was because that is what Ron and I do for a living also. How special it was to have been able to visit Dorothy with Uncle Joe VandeCorput along with both my parents John & Peggy VandeCorput. She was able to name each and every one of us. She talked about her grandson running around her bed calling her home...

Marc and Dorothy were always so wonderful to us. I loved coming home from work to talk flowers and plants with Marc and recipes and kids with Dorothy. I have missed them since we moved. My sympathies to the family. I bet he is having a great time in heaven with Dorothy and Noah. May you find peace in the wonderful memories.
