Not sure what to say?

Dr. Marcus Zbar was one of the best men I have known. He was a great husband, a loyal friend, and a wonderful father to Hope and Robin. I will always remember Marcus with reverance and a smile.

Marcus Zbar, the greatest man I have ever known. There will never be another like him. Just knowing him made me a better person.

Marcus was a dear friend of more than 45 years. He will be greatly missed, as will our long in-depth conversations about every thing from plotics to evolution and ancient man. Marcus possessed a brilliant mind, was a caring individual and great human being.

Marcus Zbar was more then a close family friend he was like an Uncle to myself, my sisters, our husbands and and our children, like a brother to both my Mother and my Father. Uncle Marcus I will love you and miss you always, you will always hold a very dear and special place in my heart.

My personal and professional relationship with Marcus goes back many, many years, as well as our times together. Whether it was doing Judo, Medicine or just having plain fun, he shall never be forgotten. Marcus was the always the best at whatever he did. He will always be remembered and may the good Lord use his talents in the great beyond as he did on this earth. Remember the Jazz. Love and Sympathy to Muriel and the family. Love Michael & Lois Lazzopina (South Florida).

We are saddened by the loss of Marcus. Both of us were close to him, and we learned much about the importance of friendship and mutual fun activities. He was a learned man, wise in science and antiquities as well as street-smarts. We have always had the highest respect for Marcus and will always remember him with love.

Dr. Zbar was a close family friend to my parents as I was growing up. I'm sorry that I hadn't seen him in many years, because I never got to tell him what a special influence he was in my life. I am an avid scuba diver and my desire for underwater adventures grew from his friendship (and from Jacques Cousteau, of course.) His slide shows, stories and artifacts he brought back from the exotic and distant seas around the world mesmerized me. I wanted to be just as adventurous, just as...

Marcus was not only my cousin but a friend and fellow diver, hiker and many other enjoyable endeavors we shared over the last 60 years. To say that I will miss him is the understatement of life.

We will deeply miss Marcus and share your grief. He was a true friend for almost half a century. Our thoughts are with you.
