Margaret Barbera

Besides a coworker, I considered Peggy a great friend. She invited me to my first Redskins game and we shared our love for good old music. She attended my wedding and I was invited to her wedding anniversary. She was so kind to give my daughters Christmas presents when they were little. I will sure miss my friend Peggy. My condolences to her family.

Peg was always a constant during our time at Good Counsel, from when I was a student and continuing on when I started teaching here. I could always count on a warm smile greeting me from the business office. No one could leave Peg without having a chuckle!

You can´t think of Peg without smiling. She was a great storyteller who loved her Jim, her kids, grandkids, friends and life. She had a zest for travel and she will be greatly missed.

I worked with Peg for years as chair of the religion department and as Service Coordinator. She was a joy to work with. She was not only professional but a dear friend. I pray that Jesus gave her a big hug when she entered heaven.
