Peg was one of the finest women I've ever had the pleasure of knowing . I am so sorry for all of the Luttons for losing their precious matriarch. What an example she was to all of them and to her friends. She will always be fondly remembered for her character, talents, patience, and kindness.

Peg, together with her husband Dee, has played an important role in my life. They welcomed me in their home in Ashland when I arrived as a 17 years old AFS exchange student from Sweden in 1966. What a lady, a mentor, a historian, a reader, a musician, a friend to many, a leader, a traveler and a lovely person. We miss her.

Peg was such an important player in her role in the Ashland Arts Council for decades. She gave tours of St Stephens and demonstrated her skills on the pump organ there. We will miss our wonderful conversations with Peg and her historical depictions of our community. She brought back to life the memories of my grandfather, Edwin Lewis, (1900-1965) as she had known and spoke to him. Edwin, Eddie, tuned some of the organs Peg played on. We will miss her dearly.
