Margaret Rennie Sims

With deepest sympathy to Margaret's whole family and close friends. She was a gem. I love the picture you posted of her on this website. It looks like I remember her, although I did not know her until later in her life. That sparkle of kindness and depth of spirit really shines through. I was honored to have known her.

My daughter, Sara Bell, just talked to me on the phone after having played music at a funeral service at the First Presbyterian Church in Durham. When she told me who the service was for I was floored, shocked, and most deeply saddened, because Margaret was one of my very favorite people with whom I shared time and dancing at Fred Astaire Studio on Garrett Rd. We bonded immediately and always sought each other out when we were at the studio for whatever reason. She was WONderful-- so kind...
