Hi my dear cousins,
We will miss her so much. She was our last connection to that generation of the family, of siblings and Blanchard cousins of Cumberland. I know that there is a hole in your life. All the Garsoe family gathers around you.
love,
susan

Judy, David, and rest of the Family-
We have such fond memories of your mother and aunt. She always had a smile on her face, was full of laughter and indeed full of wisdom. Upon occasion I would go down to Ledgeview to visit. If I didn't- my Dad would visit every weekend and came home full of stories. "Mrs Potter" still hadn't change the last time I saw her 3 weeks before her passing. Margelia was what I remember growing up with all of you. Always had something delicious coming out of the oven as well as lots of lessons to be learned as a young Brownie and tons of positivity. Who didn't NOT love going to Mrs Potters house. Margelia was and will always be a staple of the Town of Cumberland. As will the Blanchard and Garsoe names. My childhood and adult years are filled with wonderful memories from these two families. Sincere condolences to you all.

To all of Margelia's family: She was a valued treasure for the Cumberland Historical Society. The Officers, Trustees, and members who had the privilege of knowing her will remember her with great fondness and respect. Our condolences to you all.
On a lighter note: she made sure we all knew that she was the YOUNGEST of the beautiful Blanchard girls, especially if she was with Barbara! rarely missed a chance to let that be known.

Judy and family, so sorry for your loss. Maggie was a wise woman. When I came to your house I always looked on your refrigerator for her latest gems of wisdom. I still remember them... Love, Barbara ("BP")
