Liebe Caroline, lieber Charles,

It was with sadness that I heard of the passing of Mrs. Krewson. I worked with her in the European Division of the Library many years ago. She was always gracious and kind to me. May her memory be eternal and may she rest in blessed repose.

Fond memories of Mrs. Krewson as we worked together for years acquiring German and Dutch material for the Library. Knew the collections well and recommended good scholarly items for the German and Dutch collection. Was very instrumental in bringing the Waldseemuller Map to the Library an important monumental acquisition which is on permanent display. Always interesting to work with, a unique person, one of my favorite colleagues during my career in the Library. My Condolences to the family.

As an acquisitions specialist for Germanic material, I worked with Mrs. Krewson for many years at the Library of Congress. She was indefatigable and committed to her work. She often said that the Library's collections were what was important, that the collections will live on after us. She was right. I won't forget her many kindnesses and I'm so glad I got to work with her.

A true friend and a great lady, Margrit brightened the lives of all of us who were privileged to be her friends. We grieve for her loss, but we have wonderful memories, and Margrit's many good works will live on. My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to Caroline and Charles.

My condolences to the family for the loss of your dear loved one. Isn't it comforting in our times of need that God hears our cries for help and comes to our rescue to strengthen us.
Ps 18:5,6

I am so sorry for your loss. As a child, I was a neighbor on PC golf course. May God send to you the Comforter and His peace in the days and weeks ahead. Prayerfully,
