Marguerite Geiger Obituary
The Arch-Angels took her away on Nov. 28, 2015 at 6:15 a.m. She will now be joined in Heaven along with her parents and her sister Cherie. Margie was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, March 4, 1955. Parents (deceased) were Charlotte Celestine Philippine Geway Poublon and Robert Eugene Joseph Poublon. Margie's siblings are Robert Eugene Joseph Jr., Cherie Poublon Bushu, Gwendoline Juanita Linda Jenkins, Brigitte Elsa Maria Poublon, Joseph Glenn Poublon, Terrence Aubrey Poublon, and Edward Ernest Poublon. Margie was married to Bruno Perna and had a son named Daniel Christopher Perna. Margie also left behind her nephews and nieces, Valerie Patricia Bryant, Christopher Poublon, Crystal Nicole Poublon, Haleigh Noelle Poublon, Renee Danielle Poublon, Aaron Edward Poublon, Damian Poublon, Robert Eugene Joseph Poublon the Third, Erica Bushu, Anthony Bushu and great nieces Ryliee Brigitte Poublon, Lauren Elizabeth Bailey, Jordan Faith Bailey, and great nephew Devon Michael Bailey. Later on Margie met James Herbert Geiger, who also worked with her at United Air Lines. She married James Geiger on December 31, 1994 and was married for 21 years (nearly 22 years) and had step kids Seana Geiger Riggins, Jennifer Schmidt Geiger, and Bryan Geiger. Margie had grand-kids Zachary, Shane, Gibson and Miles. Margie graduated from Leuzinger High School in 1973 and within a year was hired by United Air Lines. She worked in the flight kitchen side by side with her dad for over 25 years. Margie was forced to early retirement due to heart disease. Margie's funeral service is Dec. 11th at 11:00 am at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503. Immediately after, the Wake is being held at Thai Rama Restaurant, 4473 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503. 2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good fight. I have kept the faith". On this eve 3 years ago, before your friends & family came together the following day to celebrate your life & the amazing ability you had to touch the lives of so many individuals. My condolences to the whole family. I worked with Marguerite at the United flight kitchen from 1978-1988. Sorry to hear your lost. Thoughts and prayers goes out to her family. May the good Lord find some ways to ease the pain and comfort you in the time being. May she Rest In Peace Marguerite
