I met "Mamita" on numerous occasions over the past 40 years and she was, without fail, gracious, elegant, polite, interested and smiling - a true lady in every sense of the word. I know she will be missed by all.

Am grateful to have been among her many friends and admirers across the years. She was exemplary of good womanhood and Mariangel has followed in her mother's footsteps. Among my personal cherished memories is her warm and welcoming hospitality, especially Christmas Eve festivities at the Rodriguez home. Also, I have not forgotten her gentle and comforting conversation with me at the time my own mother passed away. My heartfelt condolences to all of us whose lives were touched by Maria Rodriguez. May the Lord keep her, and us, in the palm of His hand.

My prayers and thoughts are with your family, Nettie Smith, Larry Cunningham, and Carolyn Chustz.
