We are so fortunate to have had Maria as our friend and neighbor. She was always sincere, compassionate and showed everyone around her how to love and live life to the fullest. She is now an angel among the angels.

I met Mary when we were working towards our RN, we became very good friends. we lost contact when she and Dr. Evans moved to McKinney and I moved to Houston. She was such a beautiful person and will be missed terribly. Please accept my condolences and prayers for your great loss. Adelina Ryan

Scott and Allison, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I know she was deeply loved and what a beautiful presence she brought into your lives. Keeping you both and your families in my prayers.

Good Bye my dear friend; we worked well together as nursing faculty at the University of Texas Pan American. I will always remember how you helped me as I mourned the loss of my husband. Dr. Eloisa G. Tamez

Rest in peace Mrs. Evans. You will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you. My sisters and I really enjoyed having lunch or dinner in and around the McKinney area with you. I will forever remember your charasmatic personality and your love of family and fashion.

God rest your soul, Mary. You were a good person, full of love and hope. We used to lunch at Maxine Nichols, and you were always the life of the party. Your devotion and love for your husband and family was genuine and understood. Never an unkind word from you towards anyone. I have missed you since you moved away but carry only sweet memories and always will.

Maria, I know you are dancing in heaven. Thank you for your fun and special friendship.
