I just found out about her passing today as we had fallen out of communication. Maria & I met online in 2010 because of a misrouted confirmation email for a hotel reservation. We enjoyed sharing the same name. We never met in person but got to know each other via phone conversations and emails. From the short time I knew her I found her to be a loving, passionate person and spoke often of her love for her daughters. My condolenses to Marissa & Rebecca.
