Not sure what to say?

At Christmas time we remember so vividly those who have gone on before us. I think often of the relationship Marian Kirby created with her son. Bill Kirby, JR. 11 years now and her presence remains with us through his contributions to our world. She was a gift to us all and continues to be one, through Billy!

Bill, you don't know me but I was one of the clerk who was fortunatly enough to have grace your mother presence over the year I worked at Highland Cleaners she was loved by all the girls there and she was like a mother to me always asking about my son and how's he doing in school I will surely
miss her alot an angel has being here but her time has come to go home now that's the way we have to see the picture I know it hurts but it help to
keep talking about her anyway. I will keep...

Dear Mr. Kirby, Yesterday (Dec. 30)I read your loving tribute to your Mother. It was almost as if you were talking about my mother, who passed Jan. 6, 2009. I miss my mom's call, and I so very much miss not being able to "shoot the breeze" with her. You and I are so fortunate to have had the blessing of having such dear mothers. There is no love like a Mother's. My prayers are with you as you start 2010.

May God Hold Her In The Palm Of His Hand.
May the memories be more than your heart can hold in times of need.

My Prayers are with you Bill.

Mr. Kirby,
I just want to tell you how sorry I am that you lost your Mother. I enjoyed reading about her in your column over the years. I also had a wonderful, gracious and sweet Mother. I lost her suddenly 12 years ago in an awful wreck. I would relive some of the things she did and my feelings for her by reading about your wonderful Mother.
I am so thankful that I had a wonderful Mother as I know you are. Your column today was so sweet. Your are in my thoughts and prayers for...

Dear Mr. Kirby,

You probably don't remember me, but I sure remember meeting you and your darling Mother, Miss Kirby. My name is Amy and I helped Miss Kirby at VRI when she came in for her annual mammogram. She was a ray of sunshine that day and I remember asking her if I could take her home with me. She just laughed and looked up with her beautiful blue eyes at me and said "Sure". Miss Kirby was very proud of you, I could tell by the way she said "There is my son" when we came...

Bill,

I am saddened to hear of your loss. What a wonderful life you shared with your special friend and mother. Hold on to those amazing memories the two of you created.

It was always nice to hear you speak of your sweet mother. You always made me proud of the relationship my son and I shared just by hearing your stories. I often shared with Joe'l the relationship you shared with your mom and how much it reminded me of he and I.

She's smiling down from...

Bill,

I was so sorry to read about the passing of your mother; although I didn't know her, I know how much she meant to you.

Nothing makes a mother more proud than seeing her child grow into a productive community citizen, so I am sure she was quite proud!

You are in our thoughts and prayers,
