Marianne Boncutter "Mare" Lorenz

Marianne was a sorority sister of mine at Whitman College and I am so sad to hear of her death. What a full and happy life she had lived.

Dear Fred: I saw the obit in the Desert Sun and thought, "I knew a Marianne Boncutter in Issaquah HS"...and again thought, with no mention of Issaquah in the item, it couldn't be the same classmate. Mr. Lorenz, I am so sorry to learn of Marianne's passing. She was a great lady, very kind and thoughtful and I always enjoyed seeing her at Eldorado. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Fred and family. I write this with a heavy heart and fond memories of Marianne. You all were great to grow up with as next door neighbors at Roanoke park. Mariannes bounless energy was always so much fun. She was a good friend to mom, and perhaps they are chatting it up as I write this. She will be missed by many I am sure. I have many memories of desert Thanksgiving with the Dorado villas gang. Marianne made the best sweet potatoes! I enjoyed the way she engaged life and those around her. She will be missed but remembered often and fondly.
