Marie T. Sxep, 82, of Whitehall, passed away December 22, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was married to the late Stephen F. Szep for 55 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John R. and Pauline R. (Gaston) Sentiwany. A graduate of St. Peter Elementary Catholic School and Coplay High School, she was a sewing machine operator for several local garment factories and later, a salesperson in the shoe department at the former H. Leh and Co. at the Whitehall Mall. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay.
Survivors: Sons, Michael of Allentown, Thomas of Whitehall, Stephen of Galeton; daughter, Anita wife of Michael Everett of Whitehall; grandchildren, Stephen Pascoe of Northampton; John Szep of Wilmington NC, Elizabeth Szep of NYC, David and Andrew Everett, both of Whitehall; sister, Margaret Bocich of Whitehall; brothers, Joseph and James Sentiwany of Northampton. She was predeceased by a brother, John Sentiwany.
Services: Viewing from 10:00 a.m.-Noon, Tuesday, December 27, 2016, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m., St. Peter Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay. Interment, St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Whitehall
