Not sure what to say?

Hi, I worked with Marietna at BARC Developmental Services in the early 2000s in Bucks County. She was extremely helpful in getting me oriented at my new job and was a great collaborator and co-worker, always looking to help and improve the workplace. RIP Marietna.

I did not know Marietna, but I saw your loving obituary in the New York Times and had to let you know how refreshing it was to read such a real homage to your mother. I am an 82-year-old grandmother who has been a Giants fan for at least 72 years uncertain understood her leaving before the game.

I didn't know Marietna or anyone in her family, but I have read this perfect obituary of her life twice. All obituaries should be this personal, not just a resume of work life and a list of family members. It is warm, heartfelt and funny. Hotdog casserole, really? Kudos to the family members who loved her enough to share a remarkable life in such an engaging way.

At Thanksgiving time she loved to help with the preparation of the dinner for perhaps 18 people. And during discussions, she certainly held her ground. She always made me feel welcome. A lovely lady.

She will be missed by many! An inspiration of strength and grace. Grateful to have known her and to carry her memory forward. With love, Jen and the kids

What a tribute! Mimi was one of a kind and will be missed. Sending all our love.

Just read the very loving notice of your mother's passing. And wanted to write a note. You made me both miss my own mother - and be grateful that I was one of her children. What a wonderful and moving expression of love that was to come across in the Times this morning - I will be thinking of your mother today.
