Mrs. Jones was my 5th grade teacher in 1977-78 and it was one of my favorite years in school. She is the reason I became a teacher, and not coincidentally, most of my career has been in 5th grade. Mrs. Jones was my 2nd Grade teacher at Mary C. Howse Elementary during the 1981-82 school year, and I will never forget her. Looking back I remember her as firm yet fair. She was demanding of us in a good way: demanding each of us to meet or exceed our potential, and her behavioral expectations. Mrs Jones was my sons Second Grade teacher at MCH in West Chester. She was a wonderful motivator and told us to let her know when he landed on Mars. Rob is now a Colonel in the Marine Corps and I know Mrs Jones would be proud of him. Our family sends our sympathy to your family. Mike and Barbara Hancock

I am happy to have worked with my Sorority Sister Marilee Jones for many wonderful years! She was a welcome addition to Epsilon Omega Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc!
Marilee and I not only worked together for ZETA, we were both Educators, loved ceramics, loved children, loved to read, and to help people!! She was such a giving person and loved sharing information about ZETA! She loved collecting Black Santas
and Black Art!!
