I first met Marilyn in 2003 when I joined the Kansas City Symphony Guild. Marilyn welcomed me and we became friends instantly; discovering among other things that we were both KU Jayhawks in the School of Education at the same time and that we share a summer wedding anniversary. Words can not express my sadness at the loss of my beautiful friend.

Tom and girls,
Marilyn was our long time friend and assisted us in so many ways through her complete knowledge of the insurance business.
She helped us over so many years and took a personal interest in our family for which we are truly grateful.
We send our love and sympathy to the three of you.

I am very sorry to read of the passing of Mrs. Schweitzer. She was my 7th grade Unified Studies teacher at Old Mission Junior High School. I learned a lot in her class and enjoyed having her as a teacher very much.
My condolences to her family at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Kathleen (Prendergast) Heiling

Tom, I know how much Marilyn meant to you. You are one of the cousins from my mother's family, and I've always enjoyed keeping in touch through the years. My thoughts and prayers will be with you as you go on with life, without your long time soul mate.

Marilyn and I shared many good times as members of insurance organization organization WIFS. She waved to me recently after a performance of the KC Symphony - how fortunate I was to receive that greeting! Blessings to her family. Donna A Patton

Marilyn will be missed. We met at LeLeche League in 1970 and served on many community committees through the years. She was exceptionally smart and a joyful woman. After her chemo her hair was white and her blue eyes were radiant. She was the prettiest I had ever seen her. She will be missed and fondly remembered. Love to her beautiful family.
