Marilyn Tuttle Obituary

Marilyn P. Tuttle, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on February 1, 1935 in Chillicothe, OH.
Marilyn graduated from The Ohio State University, earning her nursing degree, where she me the love of her life, Robert Tuttle. They were married for over 60 years. They raised 3 children and built a life grounded in family, love and a shared purpose.
Marilyn lived in Lake City, Fl, Brevard, NC and Harrisonburg, VA forming lasting friendships. Her artistic talents were a defining part of who she was. She enjoyed watercolor, acrylic painting, gourd making and felting. She earned a national award for her felting work.
She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution(DAR), which she held in high esteem.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tuttle and her son, Thomas Tuttle.
She is survived by her son, Mark Tuttle(Janet), her daughter, Susan Gaynor(Ed): her grandchildren, Nick Tuttle(Jessica) and Megan Tuttle: and her cherished great-grandchildren, Dawson and Navy Tuttle. Marilyn took great joy in her family and loved watching each generation grow.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel in Sunnyside on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 10am.

Mrs. Tuttle was my CNA teacher back in 1979 or 80 maybe. She was so sweet and a great teacher. I am so sorry for your loss. Grace Young
