I attended groups at the Realization Center. Marilyn worked hard to support LGBT affirmative groups, and provide a safe place to be in recovery. She was a compassionate woman that will be missed.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Marilyn, a true icon in the field of addiction treatment in new york city. Marilyn was not only a mentor and role model but an admired mother figure to me.
