Not sure what to say?

My thoughts and prayers are with Father Mario and his family. I had the honor of being one of his students at Sts Peter and Paul from 1964 to 1966. He was a prayerful man and a great leader and role model. The church has lost a great priest. Mike Callahan. Newark 1966

Father Mario was such a wonderful man. He married us in 1982. Our children received several sacraments by him. He used to go snow skiing with my husband and with our children. Our lives could be turned upside down and he would happen to call us or just walk into a room and we knew everything would be fine. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Serraglio family. We were so blessed by having him as part of our family.

Father Mario, you were an incredible inspiration in my life and a bright shining star in the Catholic Church! You will be missed dearly but your memory will be in our hearts forever. I can already feel your smile from heaven!

Our dearest PRIEST our family will miss you so much. May the Lord bless you as you enter into heaven. Very sad for this Clark family, we lost a dear friend of Gods. Rest with the Lord. In the name of Father ,Son & Holy Spirit. Amen

Father Mario is certainly smiling from heaven at the priests, sisters and congregation he served. Always looked forward to seeing him at church. We have lost a truly unique and charismatic individual.

Praying for the Serraglio family during this time of sorrow. Fr. Mario was sweet, kind and gentle. He had a wonderful sense of humor. I loved his homilies. He often delivered them walking up and down the center isle. Almost like he was making a personal connection with the congregation. Always smiling. I will truly miss him.

Father Mario will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness and gentle spirit will be remember forever. God bless!
