My thoughts and prayers are with Father Mario and his family. I had the honor of being one of his students at Sts Peter and Paul from 1964 to 1966. He was a prayerful man and a great leader and role model. The church has lost a great priest. Mike Callahan. Newark 1966

Father Mario was such a wonderful man. He married us in 1982. Our children received several sacraments by him. He used to go snow skiing with my husband and with our children. Our lives could be turned upside down and he would happen to call us or just walk into a room and we knew everything would be fine. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Serraglio family. We were so blessed by having him as part of our family.

Praying for the Serraglio family during this time of sorrow. Fr. Mario was sweet, kind and gentle. He had a wonderful sense of humor. I loved his homilies. He often delivered them walking up and down the center isle. Almost like he was making a personal connection with the congregation. Always smiling. I will truly miss him.

Monsignor Mario is a great priest of our Lord Jesus. He just went home to be with Jesus and his brother. Monsignor Mario was going to sponsor me for deacon and we pray that Jesus gives him a big hug and kiss of peace for us.

Dear God, Hold this Priest close, for here on earth he held you close. In doing so, Mario brought us close to you. Fr. Mario was the father of our parish family here at St. Mark , Lancaster and a wonderful presence in our Koinia family where song and laughter and service to others were cherished. Our condolences to Mario's family, his brother priests and all those who knew and loved him as we did. Rest in peace dear friend.
