Larry Hamilton Obituary
Larry Douglas Hamilton Jr., 55, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 3, 2026.
Larry was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Charlene Hamilton and the late Larry Hamilton Sr. He spent much of his life in the Columbus area, where he was known for his friendly personality, kind heart, and unforgettable sense of humor. Larry worked various warehouse jobs throughout his life and built lasting friendships wherever he went.
Larry had many passions that brought him joy. He loved grunge music, watching classic mob movies, and cheering on his favorite teams-the Las Vegas Raiders and Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed watching sports of all kinds and had a deep interest in history. More than anything, Larry treasured time spent with his family and friends.
Larry was incredibly social, kind, and most of all funny. He always had a way of making people laugh, and those who knew him will forever remember one of his favorite phrases-"forget I said it."
Larry is survived by his loving children: Justin Hamilton; Chloe Haines (James Haines); Emilie Hamilton (Josh Harvey); and Olivia Hamilton. He was a proud grandfather to Brandon Hamilton and Larry Haines, both of whom held a very special place in his heart.
He is also survived by his mother, Charlene Hamilton; his sister, Edith St. Clair (Sam Renick); his nieces, Kayla Moore and Riley St. Clair; his great-nieces, Evelyn and Ivy Gager; as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Hamilton Sr., and his brother-in-law, Aaron St. Clair.
Larry loved his children and grandchildren immensely, and they were the center of his world. His humor, kindness, and larger-than-life personality will live on in the countless memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the home of his daughter Chloe, located at 5400 Gordon Street, South Bloomfield, Ohio 43103. Family and friends are welcome to gather to honor Larry's life and share memories together.
