Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. My parents, Thurl and Virginia Jacobson, treasured their friendship with Marion and Stan in both New Jersey and in Utah. How fortunate both couples were to share a large group of dear friends--and friendships that crossed the years and the continent. Although I never lived in New Jersey, I visited often and remember Marion's artistic gifts--her lovely tole painting and her music.
With my mother's recent death, I empathize with your loss. I wish...

As I read Marion's obituary, I was taken back to the dinner group in Springfield, MA in the 1960's. It has been many years, but I remember Marion as a most gracious hostess whenever we met in their home. I send my condolences to her family at this time.

We would like to extend sympathy in the loss of your mother who was a grand woman in every way. She and I had a lot in common with playing the organ and sewing and playing bridge. We have very fond memories of her talents and friendship. We saw your parents at the opera and other Short Hills parties in Utah since we retired here. We are happy Stan and Marion were not separated on earth too long. We wish you lovely girls the very best. We hope you remember us from NJ. Afton and Bud...

Dear Family of Marion Benson,
Who ever penned the obituary statement of Sister Benson did it with accuracy and class.
Marion was that an anything else that represents a " Latter-Day Saint"
She had character and love written on face at all times. She was happy and made others happy in her presence.
We were honored to be part of her life while they were living in Short Hills Ward in New Jersey.
Eternally grateful for Marion's example
Harlan and Mary Alice Clark
