Not sure what to say?

Mr. and Mrs. Baxter gave great strength to me through their teachings as I was growing up. I know their teachings live through their sons now and their grandchildren. A lucky world to have Mrs. Baxter travel in your mind forever.

Mrs. Baxter offered to me unconditional love as she led teen groups at church when I was young. I'm now 74 and have felt her teachings and love walking with me through my life. I feel so blessed to have known this family. Donnie and Robbie, I know you are aware how lucky you were to have had her for such a long time. My condolence to you in you loss.

I remember Marge Baxter and her husband Jim from Sunday School at Orcutt Baptist Church. My husband and thought they were the nicest couple we ever met.We learned so much from them as a married couple I believe their example of how a couple should treat each other ,with love and respect helped many young couples. They were both wonderful people and I know they are enjoying their wondefull reunion with Our Lord in Heaver Jim and Janice Hixson

We were sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was a special lady who always had a beautiful smile and warm greeting for everyone.

Our thoughts are with your family.

Jim & Marge were two well loved heavyweights at Orcutt BC. What a joy it was to have known them and have them in our home.
Lives worth living are lives worth remembering.
Our sincere condolences to the family.

Don and Helen, I am sorry to read of the passing of your mom and mother-in-law. You were mighty fortunate to have her as long as you did. May the pleasant memories of the past help ease the pain and sorrow that you are now feeling.

Mrs. Baxter was a tremendous influence on my life when I was growing up in Orcutt Avenue Baptist Church. I will never forget the pajama parties she would have for the YWA's in your home. I shared her obituary on the Newport News High School Alumni page on facebook and there were quite a few posts with remembrances of her positive influence. Your family will be in my prayers.
